An amazing documentary about the journey of El Sistema in Gothenburg! Showing beautiful meetings with musicians in GSO and VPE. The Venezuelan percussionists will surely be remembered by the children as great role models. The scene (45 min) when Victor Villarroel gives his support, encouragement and a pair of drumsticks to a young student is deeply touching! "You must be a drummer! Remember. You have the rhythm in your soul"!

Meetings in Salzburg

Simon Bolivar Orchestra in Salzburg! We decided it would be a good idea to go there and meet up with the percussionists and organizers of our trip. 

And it was indeed a great idea! Not only did our tour schedule become clear, we also got to listen to rehearsals and concerts of Mahler 3 and 7. 

Meeting Gustavo meant great happiness for us and feeling of support for our project!

El Sistema has brought 1400 young musicians to Salzburg festspiele. What a tremendous manifestation of the power of music in transformation of people and societies! We greatly admire the amazing man behind it all - Maestro Abreu.

"Most welcome", maestro said when we told him how happy we are to be able to come back to Venezuela in October.
